Attention Artists: You have just 3 days left to submit for WW Gallery‘s prestigious SOLO Award!
The SOLO Award is an annual contemporary art prize established by WW gallery in 2012, which recognises independent thinking, going it alone and taking risks. It is open to artists of any age, working in any medium. The winner receives a cash prize and a solo exhibition at the London Art Fair. The selection panel looks for artists who are not afraid to stand out from the crowd, artists with the strength and foresight to buck the trend and create work that is truly avant-garde.
We first came across the SOLO Award at the London Art Fair in 2015 when we were drawn in by winner Kyung Hwa Shon‘s exhibition.
In anticipation of this year’s award, ArtAttack will be featuring each stage of this exciting competition on our app. We have launched this campaign, which will give our users an inside peek into the process of awarding this prestigious prize, today with an exciting ‘Curated Collection’ of artworks by Kyung Hwa, herself.
In the coming weeks, we’ll be bringing you, thanks to WW gallery, the long list and shortlist of applicants as well as of course, the big winner.
Don’t miss Kyung Hwa’s exhibition featured on ArtAttack App now! And for more of her work, make sure to check out Paper, Exhibition, Performance, where the artist is featuring an impressive glass book, on view at Lychee One through 12th May.

And make sure to submit for the SOLO Award 2016 while you still can! Full details on submission and the prize itself can be found HERE.
