White Cube Bermondsey will present a major exhibition of works by Georg Baselitz, including ‘new large-scale paintings, sculpture and works on paper.’
The exhibition draws together two strands within the artist’s practice: portraiture and the process of ‘remixing’, in which images are repeated and reinterpreted over time using different techniques and mediums.

Dadiani Fine Art presents Paul Wager: The Mask of Anarchy, an exhibition comprised of one sculpture and a series of 2D works by the artist, all epitomising his Constructivist, industrial and revolutionary roots.
Back in January ArtAttack visited The London Art Fair, and we were delighted with what we saw. A real highlight was visiting Venet-Haus Galerie’s stand, filled with various works including spectacular sculptures by Dee Sands and exciting pieces by contemporary photographer Dieter Blum. We also had the pleasure of being greeted by the wonderful Managing Director Verena Schneider and her colleague Terence Carr.
The Venet-Haus Gallery was founded in 2007. The gallery focuses on comprehensive, contemporary painting and sculpture of international repute. Over the years, well-known artists like Dieter Blum, Günther Ücker, Bernar Venet and Dietrich Klinge have featured prominently. In 2013, the gallery came under the present management. They saw it as an exciting challenge to discover talented young artists, for example Johann Büsen, Kristian Evju or Barbara Anna Husar and promote them alongside the already established.
I had the chance to speak to Verena about the gallery, her advice for new collectors, and their future plans.
ArtAttack meets one of London’s most exciting emerging artists, sculptor Henri Charreau. Brought up in Paris, Henri graduated from Chelsea School of Art and is currently doing an MA at Kings College London.

To the wrath of his fellow artists, Anish Kapoor confirmed last week that he has gained the exclusive rights to Vantablack, the blackest shade of black ever made.
Known as ‘Vantablack,’ the carbon-based substance is so dark that it absorbs 99.96 percent of light. The colour is produced by the UK firm Surrey NanoSystems and was developed for military purposes such as the painting of stealth jets.
Teresa Wells is a prolific award-winning sculptor, who also uses drawing in her installation work. Inspired by a moral upbringing, she possesses a fascination for the question, ‘How do humans behave?’
Her work is made to reflect the consciousness of all humans regardless of nationality, and use of text illustrates her intrigue with human stories. After working on large scale installations / sculptures up to 4metres in length, Teresa has recently moved to a more intimate scale, 50 cm in length, where she explores domestic scenarios and disconcerted connections in human relationships.

Blain|Southern presents Radiohalo, a major solo exhibition of new artworks by acclaimed New York-based artist Michael Joo.
A conceptual artist who works across a variety of media, Joo is interested in themes of energy, nature, technology, history and perception, which he explores through narratives of places, people and objects.
